On the sidelines of the global protocol signed between the Port Said Governorate and the Mishkat Noor Foundation for Science and Cultural Enlightenment, on the one hand, and the Logos Hope ship, on the other, under the patronage of Major General Adel El-Ghadban, the foundation organized a tour today for the crew of the ship, the largest floating library in the world, docked at the tourist port in Port Said and Port Fouad. The tours included tours to explore some of the governorate's landmarks, taking advantage of the weekly holiday when the ship closes its doors to visitors. Egyptian Breakfast at Daiya Beach
At the start of the tour, which began at 9:00 a.m., Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal accompanied more than 200 members of the ship's crew, including the captain and his deputy.

The guests then headed to Port Fouad to see the salt mountains in the salt marshes in the Asian part of the governorate. The ship's crew was delighted, expressing their happiness at the ease of traveling from Africa to Asia by ferry in just four minutes. The camel then escorted the ship's delegation to the Helnan Tourist Resort on the bypass road to view the tourist facilities in Port Said. They toured the resort and expressed their deep admiration for its standard.
During the return trip from Port Fouad, the foreign guests enjoyed the sight of seagulls in the Suez Canal. They threw bread to them, which gathered in the sky on the ferry, creating a beautiful scene. They also took commemorative photos with the birds in the waterway.
The Cathedral
They visited the historic cathedral on Salah Salem Street, where they were warmly welcomed by the bishops and priests. They toured its interior and were amazed by the splendor of its construction and design. Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Mishkat Nour Foundation, explained the cathedral's features to the guests in English, explaining its history, the interior features, and the paintings on the walls. She answered all their questions and posed for commemorative photos inside. After completing their visit to the cathedral, the guests headed to Martyrs' Square in front of the Port Said Governorate building to see the largest square in the governorate and wander among hundreds of peace pigeons that surrounded them in a beautiful scene that delighted them, especially the children, who were very happy and took advantage of the visit to run and play. The guests competed to feed the pigeons, take photos with them, and take souvenir photos. They concluded the visit with a photo with Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal and volunteers from the Mishkat Nour Foundation, accompanied by chants urging visitors to visit Egypt, in a call to stimulate tourism among tourists from around the world. Dancing and Sesameya at the Fish Market
The Mishkat Noor Foundation, led by Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal, concluded the Logos Hope delegation's tour of Port Said with a visit to the fish market in the Arab neighborhood and lunch at one of its restaurants. After lunch, the guests expressed their admiration for the Port Saidi fish and Egyptian cooking, to the point that the ship's chef invited the chef of the Port Said restaurant to visit the ship and its kitchen and share lunch with him. The chef expressed his great admiration for the food.
Dr. Nour El-Hoda welcomed the guests and stated that the most appropriate conclusion to this wonderful day should be with Egyptian food. The ship's captain thanked the doctor, the foundation, and Port Said for the warm welcome and hospitality, emphasizing that it was the best and most wonderful reception the Logos Hope had received at the various ports it had visited. He asked the entire crew, without exception, to stand and applaud Port Said, Dr. Nour, and the Mishkat Nour Foundation for this tremendous effort. The Egyptians applauded the guests in a wonderful atmosphere. The guests joined in dancing with the people of Port Said to the tunes of the simsimiyya and Port Said songs, competing to learn the dance, with the help of the Port Said residents. They quickly mastered the steps, much to their delight. The guests then posed for photos with the camel driver and the foundation's volunteers at the entrance to the large fish market before boarding buses and returning to the ship. They thanked Mishkat Nour, Port Said, and its people, and hoped to return to visit again later.
