The Governor of Port Said Witnesses the Distribution of 60 Bridal Appliances from Toshiba Al Arabi to Needy Families in Cooperation with the Mishkat Nour Foundation
As part of Port Said Governorate's celebrations of its National Day and the victories of December 23, 1965, Major General Adel Al-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, today delivered bridal appliances to 15 girls from needy families. This was done in cooperation between the governorate, the Al Arabi Foundation for Community Development, and the Mishkat Nour Foundation for Science and Cultural Enlightenment. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Nour Al-Hoda Al-Gammal, Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the Mishkat Nour Foundation, Sabah Al-Arabi, Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the Al Arabi Foundation for Community Development, and a number of executive and media leaders.
In his speech, the Governor expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Al Arabi Foundation for Community Development, praising the charitable work carried out by the foundation. He emphasized that the Al Arabi Foundation provides an inexhaustible source of giving, noting that the foundation has played a significant role for years in providing support to needy families. He also praised the foundation's commitment to providing support to prospective brides from the governorate. Al-Ghadban praised the efforts of civil society organizations and their effective role in society, particularly the Mishkat Nour Cultural Foundation for Knowledge and Enlightenment. He expressed his pride in this cooperation, which brings joy to the hearts of our children about to get married. He noted that the people of Egypt are people of giving and goodness, and that Egypt will always be preserved with its generous and good land and people. The governor also congratulated the newlyweds, wishing them continued happiness and success in their future lives. In her speech, Ms. Sabah Al-Arabi expressed her happiness at contributing to preparing the newlyweds, emphasizing that the valiant Port Said Governorate is in the heart of every Egyptian, and that we will never forget the heroism of the popular resistance, which confronted the enemy with selfless devotion until achieving a great victory of which we are all proud. History will always remember the great people of Port Said, who sacrificed their lives for the homeland. Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Mishkat Noor Foundation, praised the Al-Arabi Foundation's donation of equipment to the girls in need of care, whose cases were investigated by the Foundation, and Sabah El-Arabi's contribution to equipping them and bringing joy and happiness to the families in Port Said. She noted that the Foundation welcomes any partnership with any entity seeking to support families in need of care.

She offered assistance by identifying those eligible for support and donations based on the social research conducted by the Foundation before directing support to those who deserve it. She expressed her great happiness when she saw the joy on the faces of the girls and their families today, all of whom are children of the Foundation. She called on all companies and institutions to contribute to lifting the burden off the shoulders of families in need of care.
