For the First Time: Nearly 1,700 Students Attend Preparatory Certificate Revision Caravans on Day One

The initiative comes as a result of joint cooperation between Port Said Governorate, the Directorate of Education, and Mishkat Nour Foundation.

Under the patronage of Major General Adel Al-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, and for the fifth consecutive year, the Directorate of Education and Mishkat Nour Foundation are organizing free educational caravans to provide final revision sessions for secondary school students—and, for the first time, preparatory certificate students, including specialized sessions in sign language for students with hearing impairments and in Braille (Perkins machines) for visually impaired students.

The caravans, hosted in schools across Port Said and Port Fouad, witnessed a remarkable turnout, with more than 1,700 students attending to benefit from comprehensive revision sessions delivered by expert teachers specialized in preparing final exam questions.

At Port Said Secondary School for Girls, the overwhelming attendance prompted organizers to open four additional halls to accommodate the growing number of students. Meanwhile, in Port Fouad, Khalifa Al-Rashideen Preparatory School witnessed equally high attendance, as students eagerly participated in final reviews in Arabic, Islamic Studies, Social Studies, English, Mathematics, and Science.

To ensure wider accessibility, Mishkat Nour Foundation and the Directorate of Education livestreamed the caravan sessions via the foundation’s official Facebook page, allowing students unable to attend in person to follow along and revisit the content later.

The free educational caravans, launched on Sunday, May 7, in the presence of Dr. Hala Abdel Salam, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, will continue until Thursday, May 11. The program is delivered by a distinguished group of teachers with extensive experience in preparing national exams.

For the first time, the caravans also included specialized sessions for students with visual impairments and hearing disabilities, using Braille and sign language at the School of Intellectual Education.

Today’s sessions hosted at Port Said Secondary School for Girls and Khalifa Al-Rashideen Preparatory School in Port Fouad focused on mathematics, drawing strong engagement from students eager to benefit from the expertise provided.

This initiative reflects Mishkat Nour Foundation’s commitment to serving the Port Said community and supporting education, alongside its wider contributions across multiple social and humanitarian fields. The foundation extends its best wishes for success to all students.
