A Major Success for the Free Medical Convoy Organized by Mishkat Nour and the British University in the Al-Rawda Area of Sayyida Zainab

Mishkat Nour for Science and Cultural Enlightenment organized a free medical convoy today in the Al-Rawda area of Sayyida Zainab, Cairo, in collaboration with the British University, to serve the residents of the Sayyida Zainab neighborhood. This pioneering free dental convoy achieved great success in all respects, serving hundreds of beneficiaries, including both adults and children, throughout the day.

The dental convoy, which included over thirty dentists and dental specialists, covered a range of services through several clinics, including diagnostics, general dental examinations, fillings, extractions, cleaning, and surgical extractions. In addition to these dental services, the convoy provided blood sugar and blood pressure measurements and dispensed medications to the beneficiaries, as well as distributing necessary treatments after examinations.

The convoy also brought an early disease detection device, the first of its kind, and conducted educational seminars for local residents on the importance of dental hygiene, proper use of toothpaste and toothbrushes, and the adverse effects of neglecting dental care.

Additionally, a Mishkat Nour puppet theater was set up to entertain the children of the Al-Rawda neighborhood during their dental check-ups. At the end of the event, toothpaste and toothbrushes were distributed to every child, along with various sweets and toys, and ready-to-eat meals provided by the Mishkat Nour Foundation, leaving a positive impression on everyone.
