In commemoration of Egypt's celebrations of the glorious October victories, the Mishkat Nour Foundation, in cooperation with the British University, organized a medical convoy in the village of Mit Abu al-Kum in Menoufia Governorate, the birthplace of the late President Mohamed Anwar Sadat, a hero of war and peace.
As part of its celebrations of the year-long "September Month of Ethics" initiative, the foundation provided services to the people of Mit Abu al-Kum by organizing a medical convoy in cooperation with the British University in Cairo. The convoy covered all dental specialties, including diagnostic clinics, fillings, cleanings, extractions, and surgical extractions, in addition to blood pressure, blood sugar, and weight measurements.
Hundreds of residents, both adults and children, benefited from these medical services, amidst great joy from the residents who warmly welcomed the convoy.
The foundation also provided entertainment for children, such as an awareness-raising puppet theater, which was well-received by everyone, both young and old. Toothbrushes and toothpaste were distributed, along with gifts and toys for children.
As part of the visit by the Mishkat Nour Foundation, and its celebrations of the glorious October victories, the foundation visited the home of the late leader Mohamed Anwar El-Sadat, the liberator of Egyptian land, in the village where he was born. They were keen to take memorial photos in the guesthouse where he received distinguished visitors. The guesthouse has been transformed into a museum housing his famous possessions, such as the navy uniform he wore when he reopened the Suez Canal in 1975 aboard the royal ship "Al-Mahrousa," the famous suit he wore on major occasions, and the Egyptian cloak he often wore on special occasions.
