Khairy Ramadan praises the efforts of the Mishkat Nour Foundation in all areas of Port Said.

During a tour accompanied by Major General Adel El-Ghadban and Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal, media personality Khairy Ramadan praises the efforts of the Mishkat Nour Foundation in all areas of Port Said. Media personality Khairy Ramadan, host of the "Hadith Al-Qahira" program on Cairo and the People Channel, expressed his great happiness with the various activities of the Mishkat Nour Foundation in Port Said and the services it provides in all fields. This was during a tour he and his team conducted in the company of Major General Adel El-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, and Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Mishkat Nour Foundation for Science and Cultural Enlightenment in the Free City.
The media delegation visited the Al-Amal area in Port Fouad, which the Foundation has developed and enhanced its capabilities. It established the first Takaya Al-Khair projects to feed the needy, serving hundreds of poor residents of the Free City. They witnessed the extent of the development that has affected all the area's streets and residential buildings. The delegation then headed to the Fatima Al-Zahraa area in the suburbs district, which was the first of the Mishkat Noor Foundation's projects to develop and improve the efficiency of areas as an alternative to slums, both in residential buildings and economic empowerment by teaching residents handicrafts such as crochet, sewing, embroidery, and detergent manufacturing. This helps them become self-sufficient, increase their incomes, and improve their living conditions.
The delegation attended a puppet show being performed in the area in front of the Morals Kiosk, as part of the "Qoloub" program, one of the Foundation's projects to serve the residents and focus on behavioral modification through entertainment. A sketch was shown, "Qatqut and Qatquta," which Ramadan admired, interacted with, and watched throughout.
The delegation also interviewed citizens, who expressed their happiness at the presence of the media delegation. They affirmed Major General Adel Al-Ghadban's response to their requests, particularly those submitted by Dr. Nour Al-Huda Al-Jammal, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Mishkat Noor Foundation, and the governorate's responsibility for covering the costs of comprehensive health insurance arrears and late rent payments for indigent citizens.
The media delegation, accompanied by Al-Ghadban and Al-Jammal, visited the Mishkat Noor Foundation's low-cost Continuing Education Center in the Ali Ibn Abi Talib area. This center welcomes children from the area and slums, offering educational alternatives and behavior modification for age groups from kindergarten to middle school, following the Cambridge curriculum.
His Excellency the Governor and media personality Khairy Ramadan viewed the school's classrooms, which include classes for children with Down syndrome and learning difficulties, as well as kindergarten and primary schools, and teach the Cambridge curriculum. Ramadan conducted a dialogue with the staff and schoolchildren, observing the significant progress in their educational and behavioral levels.
A large number of residents from the area were keen to meet the prominent media personality and express their great satisfaction with the services provided by Major General Adel Al-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, and the Mishkat Noor Foundation, whether cultural, educational, medical, or service-oriented. This center is particularly helpful in improving the standard of living of their students at the Continuing Education School, which saves them significant amounts of money by avoiding private tutoring.
The delegation concluded its tour by viewing the handicrafts exhibition on Da'iya Beach. To showcase the products of productive families who received training from Mishkat Noor Foundation trainers in its economic empowerment program, including beading, crochet, and other handicrafts.
