Mishkat Nour Foundation is introducing innovative projects that are being expanded to all governorates.
Following the success of the Mishkat and Education Convoys, the idea is being expanded nationwide, with savings exceeding 20 million Egyptian pounds!
As usual, the Mishkat Nour Foundation is introducing innovative projects that are being expanded to all governorates.
The Education Directorate and the Mishkat Nour Foundation, under the auspices of the Port Said Governorate, presented a "great model" for their secondary and preparatory school review convoys.
This year, the Foundation, in cooperation with the Port Said Education Directorate and the Governorate, set an exemplary example of free education for our students, male and female, in Port Said Governorate. Two free convoys for the preparatory and secondary school certificates, under the auspices of Major General Adel El-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, and the Education Directorate, provided a comprehensive review of all subjects for both certificates, led by the most prominent teachers specializing in explaining and setting exam questions in the country. This free service is available to the governorate's children, and it alleviates the burden of private tutoring costs for vulnerable families. Mishkat and Port Said Education have presented the convoys for the fifth consecutive year. The first was during the COVID-19 year, when a platform for reviewing high school exams was launched, which garnered over 2 million views. Under the supervision of the Education Directorate, the convoys were organized, the first of their kind, to complement all these years during the COVID-19 pandemic, which failed to disrupt the organization of educational convoys at the time and the delivery of services to our students.
This year's convoys witnessed unprecedented turnout, including the preparatory certificate exams, which were organized over five days in the cities of Port Said and Port Fouad. They included students from Al-Fikriya Schools with special needs. Entertainment segments, such as puppet theater, were presented to them, and resulted in the graduation of top-ranked preparatory students who regularly attended the convoys.
In addition, the secondary school convoys, which continued for eight consecutive days, were taught by leading specialists. The convoys attracted significant interest and a large student turnout, reaching nearly 40,000 students in the schools hosting the convoys. The service was not limited to Port Said residents alone; the foundation ensured that educational services and reviews were delivered to all students nationwide by conducting a live online broadcast on social media on the Mishkat Nour Foundation's Facebook page, covering all subjects daily. This attracted significant interest from middle and high school students across all governorates who followed the convoy, with the number of views reaching nearly 5 million.
These convoys saved millions for a limited number of students, even breaking the 20 million Egyptian pound barrier, including the cost of private reviews among the number of students. The Mishkat Nour Foundation for Knowledge and Cultural Enlightenment extends its gratitude to Major General Adel Al-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, and the Port Said Education Directorate for their valuable trust. It also extends its gratitude to Dr. Hala Abdel Salam, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, who serves as a positive example of outstanding female leadership. The Foundation has been entrusted with organizing free educational convoys for middle and high school certificates. This is based on the Foundation's credibility, competence, and experience, which serves the community and the nation in all free charitable fields. It has established itself as a pioneer in this field, laying the foundation for organizing free educational convoys in Egypt and delivering them to all beneficiaries in all governorates. This has served as a model and a beacon for others to follow, especially given its scientifically-based service delivery and commitment to quality standards. The Ministry of Education has closely monitored the extent of interest and attendance, and the impact this has had on students and their significant benefits, resulting in a large number of them excelling. The Ministry has announced that it will continue on the same path nationwide, ensuring that the service reaches all students across Egypt.
